Same Float. New owners.
As of July 31, 2026, Float Edwardsville is owned by Shawn and Tracy Comer.
We live here. Our three boys go to school here. We want to continue operating Float Edwardsville as a valuable community resource for peace, tranquility, recovery, and conscious awareness.

Karen Swanner built something that works, and she spent weeks teaching us how to run it before she handed over the keys. We're not here to reinvent it. Same name, same address, same people — Annabelle is still at the front desk, Mindy is still doing massage, and every membership, package and gift certificate is honored exactly as it was.

A little about us: Shawn spent 21 years in federal service — West Point, an Army intelligence officer with two tours in Iraq, then the Defense Intelligence Agency and a tour to Afghanistan, Air Mobility Command, and most recently the IRS. He resigned on July 31 to run this place full time.
Tracy is also an Army veteran with a tour to Iraq and continues her work at Kennell Inc. That makes Float Edwardsville woman-owned and veteran-owned, and locally owned.
"While I have always really highly valued public service, I had a bit of a profound awakening that made me realize it was time to make a drastic change in my life. So, Tracy and I purchased Float Edwardsville and I hope to offer the community a chance to relax and connect their mind, body and spirit."

You get to decide what goes in the extra room
There's a big room at the front of the building sitting empty. We could pick something for it. We'd rather you did.
Walk in anytime through August 31, fill out a ticket, and mark your top three:

-
A second float pod — shorter waits, more open times
-
Free walk-in meditation hours, open to anyone in town
-
A second massage room
-
Red light therapy
-
A meditation/yoga/etc. class and sound bath space
-
A quiet tea lounge for after your float
-
More retail — mindfulness, consciousness, and wellness goods
Every ticket is also a raffle entry.
Four winners: two $100 gift cards and two $50 gift cards. No purchase necessary; you don't need an appointment, and you don't have to be a customer. Just walk in and drop a ticket in the jar.
We'll publish the results and the actual vote counts in early September.

MAGNESIUM MANIA!
Make August the Month of Magnesium.
We're introducing a new service — massage with magnesium-infused oil — and we're giving it the full treatment.

Book a magnesium massage in 30, 60, or 90 minutes. Then follow it with a 60-minute float at 10% off.

On your way out, we'll hand you a free bag of our handmade Epsom salts — the same commercial-grade salt that's in our float chamber, infused with essential oils, for your own bath at home.

Magnesium in the massage. Magnesium in the float. Magnesium in your tub that night.

How to book: choose Massage, pick any option marked "w/ Magnesium Oil," then add a 60-minute Float to the same appointment. Type "Magnesium Mania" in the Appointment note so we know to set it up. Or just call us at (618) 307-9888.

Massage slots are limited, so book ahead. Through August 31.
